Russell Wilson sister Anna Wilson is also an athlete; she is a former college basketball player, unlike her NFL superstar brother. 

The quarterback is currently playing for the Denver Broncos after quitting his decade-long relationship with the Seattle Seahawks. 

He is regarded as one of the greatest dual-threat quarterbacks of all time. Moreover, Wilson is a multi-talented athlete and played baseball at NC State and Wisconsin. 

Additionally, the footballer led his college team to the Big Ten Title and the 2012 Rose Bowl.

After quitting baseball or following his dream of playing football, he moved to Seahawks in the 2012 NFL Draft. 

Winning the Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks is one of his proudest achievements. Russell Wilson also holds the record for most wins by an NFL quarterback. 

Furthermore, the 37 year old is also one of the five quarterbacks in NFL history with a career passer rating over 100.

Anna Wilson, who played basketball at Stanford Cardinal of the Pac-12 Conference, is 28 year old. 

She is nine years younger than her footballer brother. Moreover, the Wilsons were born to lawyer Harrison Benjamin Wilson III and nurse director Tammy Wilson. 

The athlete siblings also have an older brother Harrison Wilson IV. 

Like her brother, Anna is also a hell of an athlete and was part of the US Team that won the 2014 FIBA Under-17 gold. 

Apart from playing, she also has a master’s degree in media studies/communication. Anna also finished her undergraduate degree from the reputed college Stanford.

Moving on to her family, the Wilson great-great-great-grandfather was a slave to a Confederate colonel. 

He was freed after the American Civil War. The siblings also come from a long line of sportspeople. 

Their paternal grandfather Harriison B. Wilson Jr., played football and basketball at Kentucky State University.

Likewise, their paternal grandmother Anna W. Wilson was a faculty at Jackson State University, and their maternal grandfather was a painter.

The quarterback is one of the best players in the Seahawks and NFL history. With fame, a lot of praise and backlash will come, on and off the field. 

One of the backlash that the Seahawks star faced was during the 2015 movie “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Moreover, he shared his thoughts on  before the movie was released to the public. Wilson enjoyed the movie and shared his thought on the movie.

However, his Twitter did not sit right with some of the fans. They thought supporting such an exotic and controversial film was a trash idea. 

Some of the fans even questioned Wilson’s faith during the whole incident. 

However, the Broncos player doubled down against his opposition, and he just enjoyed the movie, and the movie did not shake his faith at all. 

Being one of the highest-paid players in the NFL, his backlash against the fans did not even stop the athlete at all. 

He had an incredible season, and many analysts consider him an MVP candidate of the season.
