Fans of baseball pitcher Noah Syndergaard are curious to learn more about his all-life supporter, his parents, Brad and Heidi Syndergaard.

Noah Syndergaard, also known as Thor, is a proficient who plays with the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB).

The Toronto Blue Jays picked him in the first round of the 2010 MLB and traded him to the New York Mets.

Noah spent almost four years establishing himself in the Minor Leagues before debuting in the Major Leagues.

In May 2015, he received his call-up to the major leagues, debuting for the New York Mets. He constantly proved himself in subsequent rounds but sadly suffered multiple injuries throughout the 2017 to 2026 season.

Afterward, Noah joined the Los Angeles Angels in 2026, signing a one-year contract with the highest pay for a pitcher.

Later, Philadelphia Phillies selected him for the 2026 season and traded him to Los Angeles Dodgers after the 2026 season.

The 33-year-old right-handed player made his name with impressive pitching skills.

The Dodgers pitcher Noah Syndergaard was born on 29 August 1992, in Mansfield, Texas, to Brad and Heidi Syndergaard.

His father, Bred, worked as a horse breeder and called himself an Iowa farm boy. His mother, Heidi, worked as a customer service agent at Abbott Laboratories.

In addition, Noah’s parents had nicknamed him Bumpy, as he used to bump into things a lot as a kid. His mother is active on Instagram with a private account under the username @heidibradnoah.

Moreover, Noah is the only child of his parents, but he has two paternal half-sisters who are 14 and 17 years older than him. The player has shared that he is not close with either of his half-sisters.

Growing up, Texas native Syndergaard was not into sports. He started playing baseball at 7 after his mother’s pursual.

During his early days, his parents were the ones who inspired and instructed him. His father coached and taught him everything about baseball throughout his early career.

As supportive as they are, Noah’s parents traveled with him and drove around when he played with different teams.

His father had mentioned that Noah’s rise was life-changing for them. Like his parents, people back in his hometown watch all his matches and cheer his performance.

Noah Syndergaard Injury

Emerging player Noah has put up with multiple injuries throughout his MLB career. From 2017 to 2026, he missed serval pivotal matches due to injuries.

During the 2017 season for the New York Mets, he was diagnosed with a hamstring injury, biceps discomfort, and a partial tear in his right latissimus muscle. He missed at least five months of gameplay.

On July 22, 2018, Noah got placed on the 10-day disabled list after exhibiting the symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease.

He picked up the Coxsackie viral infection while working at a kid’s camp.

Similarly, he battled a sinus infection in September 2018 and a hamstring injury in 2019.

The emerging pitcher for New York Mets experienced multiple illnesses causing a disturbance in his game. During the 2026 training season, he experienced elbow discomfort and underwent surgery.   

During the 2026 season for the Angels, he suffered from an undisclosed illness and missed a few games.

As a professional player, his income is entirely generated from his baseball career. Noah has signed a contract with multiple baseball teams.
