Who is Sauce Gardner’s brother Allante Gardner, the former wide receiver from Detroit, Michigan? Did he play in the NFL?  

for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL), Sauce has been playing in the league since the 2026 NFL Draft.

Born on August 31, 2000, he attended the Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School, where he played as a wide receiver and cornerback.

Subsequently, he went on to play for the Cincinnati Bearcats and became a star player for the team, making impressive tackles and interceptions.

Gardner was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Year and the 2026 College Football All-America Team.

The Detroit native was selected fourth overall by the Jets in the 2026 draft. The Jets offered him a four-year/$38.7 million guaranteed rookie contract

He capped off his rookie season with 75 combined tackles (51 solo), two interceptions, and 20 passes.

Furthermore, he earned the Defensive Rookie of the Season honor, becoming the first rookie cornerback to win the award since Ronnie Lott in 1981.

Who Is CB Sauce Gardner Brother Allante Gardner? 

The Jet’s cornerback has an elder brother named Allante, a former high school and collegiate football player.

However, he did not make it to the NFL like his younger brother, Sauce.

Sauce’s elder brother attended Michigan Collegiate High School and earned honorable mentions of first-team all-country and All-State twice as a junior and senior. Additionally, he received eight varsity letters in football, basketball, and track and field.

Showing and improving his skills on the ball, he also captained the team twice.

Gardner also won the regional championship during his junior year at his high school.

Subsequently, Allante then went on to play for Lakeland and Saginaw Valley State University.

His collegiate football was the end of his football career, and he is not known to have played football professionally.

Currently, Allante is working in Athlete Management, Marketing & NIL. He is also the co-founder of GC Sports Management Ltd, a full-service sports management agency. 

The brothers also run the , an organization designed to give group football instruction, leadership, and sportsmanship lessons and inspire future athletes.

And unfortunately, not much is known about their father since he has been out of the picture for a long time.

Raising one kid as a single parent is hard enough; Alisa Gardner is a strong woman who raised three kids on her own.

Reportedly, she was all about work and kids and made sure her kids could go to school and pursue their dreams.

Now Ahmad has made it big to the NFL; he hasn’t forgotten his past and all the hardships they endured.

Ahmad is popular by his nickname, “Sauce.” Well, he got the nickname from his youth coach at age six.

Ahmad was a big-time sauce lover. His affinity for Wendy’s creamy sriracha sauce might be why he got the nickname “Sauce.”
