Charli Collier brother Casey Collier switched to the Oklahoma State University football team in 2026. He played two seasons at USC.

The offensive tackle Casey Collier was listed as the no.88 prospect at tackle before committing to USC. But the little brother of Charli Collier didn’t get much game time at USC.

Now at Oklahoma State University, Casey is looking forward to a fresh approach. Coming from an athletic family, Casey and Charli were trained by their dad, Elliott, in their formative years.

The overall no.1 pick in the WNBA draft of 2026, Charli Collier, was waived by Dallas Wings earlier this week. The new coach Latricia Trammell’s arrival has sparked several changes in the Wings’ lineup.

In recent weeks, there have been several transfer and contract news in the WNBA. The 2026 overall no.1 pick recently signed a $410K contract keeping her in New York Liberty till 2026.

Charli Collier’s brother, Casey Collier, is a football player at Oklahoma State University. Measuring 6ft 7 inches, Casey plays offensive tackle for the Cowboys.

Born on June 18, 2002, Casey is the only sibling of the WNBA star Charli Collier. Before joining, Oklahoma State University, Casey had committed to the University of South California.

While at Barbers Hill high school, Charli was a three-star rated player and made the PrepStar All-Central Region and All-District 12-5A Division II first team.

He received offers from several colleges, including Florida State, Missouri, and Minnesota, but had his heart set on USC. But his high school success didn’t translate to on-field success at USC.

He spent two seasons at USC and was redshirted in first tackle making only one appearance. His second appearance came in freshman year, and that was the end of Casey at USC.

The offensive tackle joined the transfer portal and committed to Oklahoma State University. The little brother of Charli Collier hasn’t seen any action for OSU and is waiting for his opportunity.

Charli Collier Parents: Elliott And Ponda Collier

Charli Collier’s parents, Elliott and Ponda Collier are former athletes shining as basketball players during their heyday.

Chalir considered her father, Elliott, her biggest supporter. So, it was unfortunate when Elliott couldn’t see his daughter being drafted as the overall No. 1 pick in WNBA in 2026.

Elliott passed away on April 4, 2016, at 53, after battling cancer. But a few weeks before his passing, Elliott was able to hear that his daughter had been invited to try out for the under-17 Women’s National Team.

Elliott was a collegiate basketball player for Eastern Montana College and briefly played professionally in Honduras. If there’s one thing Charli learned from her dad, then it was the never quit attitude.

Her father was cut from his high school team four times but didn’t give up on his basketball dream. Montana State eventually selected him.

Her mother, Ponda Collier, is a former basketball player and played for Southwestern University. After Elliott’s passing, Ponda made sure her children would continue pursuing their dreams and not feel discouraged.

Along with driving her kids to training sessions, Ponda had to maintain her position as a teacher at Barbers Hill School. Ponda is a mathematics teacher at the Texas-based school.

She is available on with the username @ponda2218 and has dedicated her Instagram page to sharing news about her kids’ achievements.

Recently, Ponda celebrated her birthday as she entered her 50s. Collier was surprised by her two kids with a surprise dinner at Post Oak Grill.

After all the perseverance Ponda has done in her lifetime, the mother of two is certainly enjoying seeing her two kids succeed in their respective fields.
