Gary Woodland has an elder sister named CJ Woodland Head, who has a corporate job in the marketing field.

Gary Woodland is an American who has won 4 PGA Tour titles.

His first major championship was his US Open win in 2019, which moved his World Golf Ranking from 25th to 12th, his career-highest ranking.

The professional golfer attended Shawnee Heights High School and later enrolled at Washburn University on a basketball scholarship.

However, after a year, he left for the University of Kansas in Lawrence on a golf scholarship.

He had a successful collegiate golf career. As a member of the Kansas Jayhawks, he won four tournaments before turning professional in 2007.

Woodland played in a handful of tournaments on the Nationwide. In 2008, he entered the Qualifying school for the PGA Tour and earned a full card to play on the PGA Tour after finishing in a tie for 11th.

The American golfer won his first PGA Tour title at the Transitions Championship, beating Webb Simpson.

Gary was born to his parents, Dan and Linda Woodland, as their second child, on May 21, 1984.

He has a sister, who is two years older than him, named CJ Woodland Head. Both the Woodland siblings started playing golf in their early childhood.

CJ is married to a former professional baseball outfielder and minor league baseball manager, Jerad Lee Head.

Moreover, Head is a very supportive sister. She even caddied the professional at a tournament in Georgia before he went pro.

The American golfer gave the biggest gift to his father, who is a big Kansas City Royals fan.

Gary and Brett knew each other from their pairing at Web.com. And Brett invited Gary, along with his family, to a Super Bowl Party.

And his father was thrilled to meet the legendary MLB player George Brett.
