German Sanchez is a professional diver from Mexico. He has won several medals at the Olympics, World Championships, Pan American Games, and many other major diving tournaments.
When he first participated in the Olympics, he was just 16. Further, he has participated thrice in Olympics. Sadly, Sanchez did not win any medals in his Olympic debut but grabbed silver medals in both the Olympics held after that.

Sanchez started his professional diving career in 2008. He is the recipient of several medals at major diving championships.
Olympics
Sanchez has participated in Olympics thrice in the years 2008, 2012, and 2016.
Sanchez first made his Olympics debut at the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, China. He participated in men’s 10 m individual platform in diving. Unfortunately, he did not win any medals and received the 22nd position.
The best part is that Sanchez never gave up and then represented Mexico in the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London. He participated in synchronizing the men’s individual 10 m platform and men’s 10 m platform.
That time he won the silver medal for the synchronized diving men’s 10 m platform. For the event, Sanchez had partnered with Ivan Garcia. The Mexican duo had recorded 468.90 points.
However, Sanchez could not win any medal for the men’s individual 10 m platform and ranked 14th at the event.

He won his first silver medal for the men’s individual 10 m platform with a score point of 532.70.
In 2016 Rio de Janeiro, Sanchez stood at 5th position for the synchronized men’s 10 m platform partnering with Ivan Garcia again. The Mexican duo scored 423.30 points in that event.
World Aquatics Championships
German won a silver medal at the 2015 World Aquatics Championship for the synchronized men’s 10m platform event. The event was held in Kazan, Russia.
FINA Diving World Series
Sanchez has participated eight times in FINA Diving World Series for multiple events in the years 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Most importantly, he has won nineteen medals at the Series, of which five are gold medals, seven silver medals, and seven bronze medals.
Diving World Cup
Similarly, Sanchez represented Mexico in the Diving World Cup in the years 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2015.
However, he only has one World Cup medal in diving. It is a silver medal for synchronized men’s 10m platform at London’s 2012 Diving World Cup.
Grand Prix
Sanchez has represented Mexico in the Grand Prix four times in the years 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2018. He was successful in accumulating eight medals in total.
He had won seven silver medals, six of which were for men’s synchronized 10 m platform and one for men’s individual 10 m platform. Similarly, he won in 2018 for synchronized men’s 10 m platform.
