Marisnick has been playing baseball since he was very young. He attended Riverside Polytechnic High School in Riverside, California, and quickly became one of the best players on the school’s baseball team.

His talent caught the attention of managers and players in , and he made a good impression on them.

At the end of high school, Jake left the school team to focus entirely on pursuing an MLB career.
