In 2008, Robinson stepped into the professional arena after making a debut for Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South (IWA). Furthermore, till 2011, he appeared in several championship games before joining the WWE. 

Robinson played for the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) with the WWE for about a season. Following it, he debuted with the NXT before returning to the Independent Circuit.

Without much of his professional experience, Robinson struggled throughout his journey, and slowly the company started losing its faith in him. Not long after, he quit WWE and joined the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) in 2015. 

In 2017, Robinson signed to be with the United States Heavy Weight Champions and devoted his time for two years. Moving on, he played with the FinJuice, Bullet Club, Ring of Honor, and Impact Wrestling.
