In Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, Murray made a final second defense on LeBron, kicking the Lakers out of the title run.

The Nuggets’ point/shooting guard, Jamal Murray, was the star player during their clean sweep against the Lakers.

Murray was dominant on the court during the Western Conference Finals, averaging 32.5 points in the series with 52% from the field.

He also became the first player in NBA history to average at least 30 PPG on 50/40/90 in the Conference Finals.

Along with on the squad, Murray did it all for the Nuggets to pave their way to the 2026 NBA Finals.

The Nuggets will face the winner between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics of the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals from June 1, 2026, to June 18, 2026.

Heat is currently leading the series 3-2 and might be looking to seal the series with a win on May 27 on their home court.

Murray Defense On LeBron Not Called

The Lakers lost the Western Conference Finals to the Nuggets in a clean sweep 4-0 series.

After the Nuggets’ Game 3 win, the Lakers were in a do-or-die situation; they had to bag a win for the series to continue to Game 5.

The Denver franchise did not let that happen as they knocked the Lakers out of the title run with a 113-111 Game 4 win.

During the game, Murray notched 25 points, his lowest score in the series, and made the game-saving block.

Approaching the final seconds, the Lakers made their final attack with LeBron on the ball leaped for a layup. But James’ , crushing the Lakers’ chance of a comeback.

Some claimed that there was a foul, but the Nuggets’ shooting guard made a legit block, and the officials were correct not to call a foul.

Murray Stellar Performance In The Conference Finals

The Nuggets’ side looked very much confident proceeding to the playoffs seeding no. 1 from the Western Conference.

The Nuggets defeated the Timberwolves 4-1 in the first-round game series of the 2026 playoffs.

After their easy win over the Minnesota franchise, the Nuggets faced the Phoenix Suns in the semifinals.

The Suns gave a rather tough competition extending the series to Game 6. However, the Nuggets crushed the Suns’ dream with a 4-2 series win.

In the Conference Finals, they were up against the Lakers, which was anticipated to be a tough opponent for the Nuggets.

But, the Nuggets, with an impressive performance from Jamal Murray throughout the series, handed them a comfortable 4-0 win.

In the 15 playoff games this season, Murray has averaged 27.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 0.3 blocks.

The 29-year-old shooting guard looks pretty confident of bagging his first NBA Championship.

With Murray’s shot-making, rebounding, playmaking, and timely defensive plays, and Jokic in the team, the Nuggets are more likely to win the title this year.
