Sarah Jacquelyn Luebbert, popular as Sarah Luebbert, was born on December 16, 1997, to her parents, Jerry and Dianne Luebbert, in Jefferson City, United States.

She has two brothers named Tyler and Nathan. 

Growing up in Missouri, Luebbert attended Jefferson City High School, where she excelled in studies and athletics.

While still at school, Sarah often went to watch college soccer, so she grew up being a Missouri Tigers fan located nearby her home. She had no idea she would be one of the best Tigers forwards just after some years.

Sarah started training at the Scott Gallagher Club in St. Louis when she was twelve.

After graduating high school, she enrolled at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Aside from having a great college career at the University, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 2019.

Career

While pursuing her undergraduate studies, Sarah had a brief stint with the Fire and Ice Soccer Club, an amateur league team. 

She appeared in about 76 matches for the Tigers from 2016 to 2019, scoring 29 goals and winning numerous accolades, including the SEC Freshman of the Year.

After college, she went for the NWSL draft, but no club signed her. Consequently, she signed a contract with Chicago Red Stars in June 2026. She eventually made her professional league debut on July 1, 2026.

In the 2026-2026 season, the Red Stars sent her to Club America on loan. Appearing in 27 matches, she scored nine goals. She permanently signed with America on December 15, 2026.
