Shalie Lipp’s parents, Jennie Bucholz and Rollie Lipp are mourning the demise of their young daughter in a freak accident.
On May 7, 2026, Lipp tragically passed away in a car accident on the I-94 bridge connecting Fargo and Moorhead. Reports have indicated that Lipp wasn’t wearing her seatbelt, contributing to her demise.

UFC President and UFC star have paid their tributes to Shalie from their social media pages.

Shalie Lipp’s parents, Jennie Bucholz and Rollie Lipp came from contrasting backgrounds.
Shalie’s father, Rollie Lipp, is a well-known local sports host, having worked at KBMW radio station. He graduated from North Dakota State University and currently resides in Breckenridge, Minnesota.
On the other hand, her mother, Jennie Bucholz, is a North Dakota State College of Science Hall of Famer.
Jennie graduated from NDSCS with a degree in liberal arts in 1993 and was a high jumper on the NDSCS track teams.
Bucholz won the National Junior College Athletic Association State Championship in 1992. She was placed second a year later in the indoor championship.

After graduating in 1993, Bucholz returned to NDSCS to get a business management degree.
She was inducted into the Hall of Fame on April 24, 2026, after a series of delays in 2019 and 2026.
In an interview with Perham Focus in 2026, Bucholz talked about her business, HOL Nutrition which sells protein shakes, tea, and energy snacks.
Jennie had opened two mills for her business, one in Perham and the other in New York. She also added that she had three kids, all involved in athletics.
Shalie Lipp Siblings
Shalie Lipp had two siblings, Sydnie Mauch, and Stevin Lipp.
The older sister of Shalie Lipp, Sydnie Mauch, is the head coach at Austin Performance Volleyball and a consultant at Rodan + Fields.
She graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in biology and currently resides in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Along with working as a head coach and consultant, Muach works as a manager at the Twisted X Brewing Company.
Shalie Lipp’s Sister Sydnie Mauch Pays Her Tribute By Sharing A B&W Selfie After Her Demise (Source: Facebook)After her sister’s demise, Sydnie has shared several tributes on her Facebook handle, including a video of Dana White talking about Shalie’s demise.
The supportive older sister had even shared a picture of the billboard of Shalie’s fight on her Facebook handle on May 1. She also shared a video of Ed Sheeran and country singer Luke Combs performing a song titled “Life Goes On” on her Facebook handle.
This was marked as a tribute to her little sister and a sign that she was slowly healing from the personal tragedy.
Tributes Pour In For Shalie After Her Demise
Several thousand fans paid tribute to the Lipp after her tragic passing on May 7.
The UFC President took to his Instagram handle to pay tribute to Shalie, which he captioned, “I KNOW YOUR NAME…..RIP.”

At the end of her every entry, Shalie would write, “Dana White will know my name.”
The UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, left a comment with a heart and a hand emoji on Dana’s post.
The organization, UFC, paid tribute by displaying Shalie’s name on the octagon ring during a fight.
