Sheldon Creed comes from the humble parenthood of Scott Creed and Renee Ortega. Despite Scott and Renee’s separation, they have consistently been the biggest supporters of Sheldon and his sister.

is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He drives the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing.

Creed was born on September 30, 1997, in Alpine, California, and grew up dominating the short-course off-road racing scene. He has won championships in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) and Stadium Super Trucks (SST), where he holds the record for the most race wins with 39.

In 2016, Creed transitioned to stock cars and claimed the ARCA Racing Series title in 2018. After making sporadic starts in various NASCAR series, he became a full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver in 2019.

Creed has showcased his versatility by competing in various racing platforms. Those include Aussie Racing Cars, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West, and Trans-Am Series. He has also participated in rally raid events such as the Baja 1000 and Dakar Rally.

He has earned nicknames such as “The Showstopper” from SST announcer Sean Sermini, and during his early off-road career, he was recognized as the “Prodigy of Short Course.”

Sheldon Creed was born to Renee Ortega and Scott Creed on September 30, 1997. 

Sadly, Scott and Renee divorced when he was young. Despite their separation, they have consistently been the biggest supporters of Sheldon and his sister.

Sheldon’s father, Scott, has a background as a dirt bike rider and hails from Lakeside, California. He attended El Capitan High School before settling in Alpine, California. Scott’s Facebook profile reveals that he is self-employed and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Scott shares updates and news about Sheldon on social media, taking pride in his son’s achievements. In 2026, he got engaged to Leslie Gladu, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a supportive and loving family environment.

Similarly, Sheldon’s mother, Renee, has also been a tremendous fan and supporter of Sheldon. She currently works at RTL Traffic Control & Equipment Rental and resides in San Diego, California.

Sheldon expressed his birthday wishes to his mother through an post on April 21, 2016.

In the post, he acknowledged that he often receives an earful from her 5-7 days a week but doesn’t consistently demonstrate how much he appreciates everything she does for him. However, he genuinely does appreciate her. 

Renee is the ultimate cheerleader for her children. She constantly showcases her love and support through her Facebook profile. She adorns her profile with countless pictures of her children and grandchildren, displaying their cherished moments.

Sister Shelby And Family

Sheldon’s elder sister, Shelby Magdaleno, has happily married Manny Magdaleno for over eight years. After five years of being together, the couple tied the knot and now have four children- three boys and a girl.

Shelby’s social media profiles, such as Instagram and TikTok, showcase her active presence as she shares photos and reels featuring her children. Her Instagram bio highlights her role as a mother raising a boy tribe and a little princess.

Professionally, Shelby is a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Sharp Rees Medical Centers. She completed her high school education at Steele Canyon High School before pursuing Nursing at National University. Currently, she resides in San Diego, California.

Family

Sheldon and his cheerleader wife, Cami Parson Creed, took their relationship to the next level in February 2026 when they formally exchanged rings.

The couple celebrated their union with a lavish wedding ceremony held at the enchanting venue of “The Kinsleeshop Farm” in November of the same year. The couple waited for the birth of their son for their formal wedding.
