Golden State Warriors, once known as a dynasty one time from 2014 to 2019, winning conference titles throughout those years.

And winning the championship 3 times in 5 years.

During those times the key player to bring the honor was .

With the help of his teammates most especially Klay Thompson, Draymond Green he not only brought the GSW back into playoffs.

But also won the championships for the first time since 1975.

Stephen individually also made great achievements some of which are still unbreakable.

But after the 2019 season, everything went downhill with Kevin Durant and Klay Thomson suffering injuries.

Kevin tore his Achilles and leaving GSW to sign with Brooklyn Nets.

Klay Thomson tore his ACL and went to rehab ultimately ruled out for two seasons now.

suffering an injury, he broke his hand in a collision that ruled him out for three months.

This caused GSW to end their 2019-20 season with a league-worst record of 15-50.

But in the NBA season this year, he is returning with an even better performance.

He is not only carrying his team to keep their place for a chance to play in a play-in tournament for playoffs.

But also making a way toward MVP contention this year and making record after records.

record-breaking season.

It looks Stephen is aging backward as he is playing even better at age 33 than at younger age.

And showing the world why he is still the greatest shooter of all time.

He is literally carrying his team that is with most of the new roster and is without Klay Thompson.

GSW superstar is in the midst of absurd stretch and unbelievable scoring that is on another level for the players at his age.

At age 33, Curry is averaging 37.3 points from the 15 games he played in April this year.

His stat in April:

He averages 37.3 points per game, 51.8 percent from the field, and 46.4 percent from the three-point line.

Similarly, he has 90.8 percent from the free-throw line.

This stat makes him the first player in NBA history to have 35 points per game with 50/40/90 shooting splits in a calendar month.

He is one of only four players 30 years or older to ever average at least 35 points per game over the course of a month

No other player has accomplished this achievement at 31 years of age or older.

The record is not the only one he made this month, he broke another record made by James Harden.

He broke Harden’s record of most threes made in the calendar month with 82 threes. Steph made 96 threes this month.

Steph’s record overall

In fact, this is not the first time this season Steph made such records.

He made records early at the start of this season till now.

On December 27, 2026, Curry put up 36 points in a 129–128 win over the Chicago Bulls.

With that game, he joined Ray Allen and Reggie Miller.

As the only players to have scored more than 2,500 career three-pointers in NBA history.

On January 3, 2026, Curry scored a career-high 62 points in a 137–122 win against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Likewise in a game against the Utah Jazz, Curry hit five three-pointers on January 23, 2026.

Moving his career total up to 2,562, passing Miller to go up to second in all-time career three-pointers made, trailing only Allen.

He even passed Guy Rodgers as the franchise’s leader in career assists. Then surpassed to become the franchise’s all-time scoring leader.

On April 12, Steph scored 53 points to set the franchise scoring record.

Simultaneously he dropped at least 30 points each game in 11 straight games to surpass another record for player age 33 or older hold by Kobe Bryant.

Along with that he also made a record of 10+ three-pointers made over 11 regular seasons.

There is more record he made and still in the process of making.

As the Warriors continue to fight for a spot in the Western Conference play-in tournament for the playoffs. It looks like he won’t slow down any time soon.

And continue his dominance making GSW games interesting to watch.

Is Steph Curry the Greatest Shooter of All Time? NBA on TNT discuss

Dwayne Wade said about guarding Steph Curry,” You have a little fear and not from like you’re scared of a guy. But just not knowing what he’s gonna do.”

” He has an amazing handle, but when a guy can shoot from anywhere on the floor when he shoots from going left and he shoots going right.”

“And then to give the ball up he’s even more deadly with his cuts, with his screening, with his ability to come off screens.”

“I mean he’s just impossible to guard so I have not watched this guy, I watched him shoot shots that I’m like, no, that’s not a good shot and it’s like for Steph that is a perfect shot.”

Stephen Curry in April:

✅ 37.3 PPG
✅ 51.8 FG%
✅ 46.6 3P%
✅ 90.8 FT%

Curry is the first player in NBA history to average at least 35 PPG with 50/40/90 shooting splits in a calendar month (min. 10 GP).

Wade added, “He is a great finisher, people don’t give him credit because we see the half-court shots that he makes.

But he’s a great finisher with both hands, he takes contact well so I mean this guy is phenomenal.”

Steph is Shaq’s favorite player

NBA Hall of fame, Shaquille O’Neal said,” Steph is my favorite player because again this is something I’ve never seen before and when he first came in. I hated him.”

“I am the guy that’s sitting on the couch and when he goes to the corner and he throws it up, no way that goes in and it goes in.

“And you know I wait, he ain’t gonna make this neither do I, and then finally he earned my respect.”

“He is my favorite player,” Shaq said. ” I wish I could shoot like that because it looks pretty.”

WNBA former MVP said,” I remember watching in 2014 when they lost to San Antonio in the playoffs and watching this kid put up 50.”

“When he did that in playoffs that was, when I was like, oh this is gonna change how people perceive basketball.”

“And now you pull up the parks and you see these kids out there shooting 50 footers and I just want to pull over and say there’s only one Steph Curry.”

“And that’s why I feel like people think they can be like him but they can’t there’s one of him he’s one of one.”

Candace added, “And I think in that way it’s fun to watch him,”
