Thiago Silva’s brother, Erivelton Emiliano da Silva, continues to reside in Brazil with the rest of the family. His sister, Danila, remains away from the public limelight. 

One of many rags-to-riches stories in soccer, the Brazilian defender Thiago Silva with his brother Erivelton, and sister, Danila, was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

Unlike the Chelsea defender, Erivelton has chosen to become a supporter of the game rather than a player. With his wife and son, Erivelton continues to reside in Brazil.

The same is the story of Thiago’s sister, Danila Silva, but her son, Matheus, shares a close bond with his uncle and even travels to different locations with him.

Despite spending a fortune on players, the 2026 Champions League winner, Chelsea, capitulated this season. Their caretaker manager and legend of the club, , hasn’t been able to change the downfall trajectory of the club. 

The veteran Silva was critical of the way the club was knocked out of the CL. Despite having played only three seasons, Silva has formed a strong connection with the Chelsea fans and is set to get his banner in Stamford Bridge.

Thiago Silva’s brother, Erivelton Emiliano da Silva, lives a life completely different from his brother. 

Unlike his brother, Erivelton didn’t become a soccer player and chose more of a corporate job in his homeland of Brazil. 

On his , Erivelton has shared several pictures of his quality time with family and friends. Erivleton is a married man and has one child.

The older brother of Thiago Silva is married to Claudia Cristina Marinho, with whom he shares one son. He works in the car rental company Movida and might have begun his job in October 2026. 

When Silva was a PSG player, Erivelton would be seen rocking the jersey of the French Club on his Instagram handle.

It’s fair to say he hasn’t shared any picture with a Chelsea kit, so maybe his allegiance lies with some other club in Premier League. 

On his socials, Erivelton hs mentioned the fact about his son’s interest in sports. Erivelton has shared snaps of his son winning medals in jiu-jitsu competitions and currently holds a black belt. 

Thiago Silva Is Close To His Nephew, Matheus Silva 

Thiago Silva also has another brother named Matheus Silva. On his Instagram bio, Matheus has listed himself as the CEO of a bar, Seu Domiingo.

The younger brother of Thiago Silva is available on Instagram with the username @matheussilva__97 and has shared several posts with famous soccer players, including the likes of  and .

Earlier this year, Matheus, with his uncle, traveled to the Maldives to celebrate New Year. The supportive younger brother penned a lengthy Instagram post after Brazil’s exit from the World Cup 2026.

He shared a picture of him and Silva as he asked the Brazilian fans to rally behind Silva and support their players rather than bashing them. 

Recently, Matheus had a portrait of his partner Duda Silva inked on his left arm. And though it might have hurt, I guess it’s anything for love from Matheus.

On Instagram, Danila goes by the username Rosangela Silva and has shared a few family posts with her followers. 

In 2019, Danila shared a picture hugging her two brothers as she captioned the post, “Loves of my life.”
