Christine Glavine is Tom Glavine’s second wife, as they got married on November 14, 1998. Tom was previously married to Carri Ann Dobbins.

Thomas Michael Glavine is a former American who had a successful career spanning 22 seasons in the MLB. 

Glavine grew up in Massachusetts and was very interested in hockey and baseball from a very young age.

As he played in his senior year of high school, he gained recognition as the outstanding high school hockey player in the Boston area.

Later, in 1984, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). 

However, Glavine chose baseball over Hockey after being drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the NL and made his major league debut on August 1987.

He became a five-time 20-game winner and a two-time Cy Young Award winner. Furthermore, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1995 World Series.

Glavine achieved a remarkable honor on January 8, 2014, when he was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his initial year of eligibility.

Tom Glavine wife, Christine Glavine, is a childhood cancer advocate and member of advisory council.

Christina has contributed a lot to this organization. In 2005, Chris and Kristin Connor successfully organized an “A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes” event.

They even raised over $100,000 to support the courageous women who had to guide their families through childhood Cancer.

Both Tom and Christine Glavine have shown active involvement in the Cure organization.

Moreover, they have been dedicated supporters of the organization’s mission and have worked together to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer.

They are partners in their personal life and enjoy being together in public. The couple frequently attends baseball matches and public functions, showing their support for the sport and each other. 

Tom Glavine Married Life And Kids

Tom Glavine has been married twice in his life. His first marriage was to Carri Ann Dobbins, which lasted five years.

However, the reasons for their divorce have not been publicly disclosed.

Following his divorce, Tom found love again with his current partner, Christine Glavine. Tom and Christine had met in the 1980s, but they didn’t pursue a romantic relationship then. 

They eventually developed a strong connection and tied the knot on November 14, 1998.

The couple are proud parents of five children with four sons and one daughter.

Tom, from his previous marriage, has a daughter named Amber Glavine. Amber, who is now in her late 20s, previously attended Boston College.

Likewise, Christine also has a son named Jonathan Flaig from her previous marriage. He is of a similar age as Amber.

After Tom and Chris’s marriage, they together have two sons, Peyto and Mason.

Later, the couple adopted their youngest son Kienan Patrick Glavine when he was a child. 

Eldest Son Peyton Following His Father’s Footsteps 

Tom and Christine’s eldest son, Peyton, has indeed shown a keen interest in baseball and follows in his father’s footsteps as a left-handed pitcher.

He had a notable collegiate baseball career playing for Auburn University. Peyton is a graduate of Blessed Trinity in Roswell, Georgia.

In recognition of his talent, Peyton was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 37th round of the MLB draft.
