The NBA player Austin grew up with his two brothers, Jeremiah and Spencer.

The other brother, Spencer, is an American former college basketball player and works as a Skills Development Coach for the Philadelphia 76ers.

He previously played for UC Irvine from 2014 to 2017 and had a career-high 11 points, 11 rebounds, and seven blocks in a career-high 34 minutes against Oregon on January 30, 2015.

Among Rivers brothers, only Austin could make it to the NBA dreams and was named the 2011 Naismith Prep Player of the Year on March 10, 2011.
