Hunter Dickinson parents, Kathy And Tim Dickinson, are the ultimate MVPs of his basketball journey for his successful basketball career.

His parents have an athletic background and are huge Buffalo Bills fans.

Hunter plays for the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 12 Conference during his collegiate career.

He was named a consensus second-team All-American freshman in 2026.

Hunter joined Michigan over offers from Duke, Florida State, and Notre Dame.

On November 25, 2026, for his Michigan debut, Dickinson scored 11 points and had eight rebounds in a 96–82 win against Bowling Green.

In his Sophomore year, the coaches, the media, and the All-Defensive Team named him to the Second Team All-Big Ten.

On May 4, 2026, Dickinson committed to Kansas despite the other offers from Villanova, Kentucky, Maryland, and Georgetown.

Hunter was born on November 25, 2000, to his parents, Kathy Dickinson and Tim Dickinson. 

Tim is a native of Buffalo State as well as a huge Buffalo Bills fan; his mother played volleyball at the University of Niagara.

His father, Tim, graduated with a degree in Literature and Writing at CSUSM.

Hunter grew up with his elder brothers Jason, Grant, and Ben, who helped him to sharpen his skills.

Among his brother, Ben has also played basketball for the Loyola Men’s Basketball.

His parents have always supported Hunter’s game and provided him with all the resources.

Hunter is dating his girlfriend, Ziyah Holman, a track and field athlete for Michigan.

She maintains her score, holds the school record for the 400 meters outdoors, and aspires to be a lawyer.

The couple has been dating since they met in high school for the first time.

The couple loves going to places and went to the city of love, Paris, and spent good days there.

Kansas College Basketball Rankings

Former Michigan star Hunter joined Kansas Jayhawks as the top prospect on May 4, 2026.

He aims to make a mark with Kansas like the previous Kansas player, .

Hunter is considered one of the most dominant centers in the country while his three seasons at Michigan.

In addition, on Top 100 of the 2026 Class, Dickinson was also ranked no. 36.

As per the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame coach Bill Self, he is an impressive 2.16 m tall college basketball best who had averaged 18.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game last season.

With Hunter’s maintained scores, he probably will be the top 2026 NBA Draft prospect.
