The Steelers Rookie quarterback Tanner Morgan sister is a sportsperson herself. Her softball journey is destined to continue at Thomas More University.

Tanner Morgan is a US-born playing in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at the University of Minnesota.

The quarterback was born on April 17, 1999, in Hazard, Kentucky. He attended Hazard High School and later transferred to Ryle High School in Kentucky.

Even though he entered Minnesota in 2018 as a backup, he worked his way up as the starter for the final six games of the season.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers had one of their best seasons in history in 2019 with the help of Morgan, who completed 66% of his passes for 3,253 yards and 30 touchdowns.

In his first full year as a starter, the team won 11 games and finished 10th in the final AP poll. He is also the winningest quarterback in school history.

Pittsburgh Steelers signed the undrafted rookie quarterback, as a free agent, minutes after the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tanner Morgan Sister: Grace Morgan

Grace is the little sister of Tanner, who is also an athlete. She was a part of the high school softball team at Ryle High School, the same high school his brother attended.

In 2019, Grace was named to the “N.KY. SOFTBALL COACHES ALL-STAR TEAMS.” She became KHSAA 2026 Softball District Champion with the Ryle Varsity Softball in her senior season.

The player played in multiple positions, including outfielder, second base, and third base. Her six years of journey with Ryle came to an end when she graduated in 2026.

Grace is very religious and considers herself an adamant follower of Jesus. She is also a member of a religious group and visits 7 Hills Church on Sundays.

She is in a romantic relationship with Steele Wren, a musician who is also a member of the 7 Hills Church community. Grace celebrates her birthday on March 14.

The Ryle High graduate is committed to playing softball with Thomas More University. 

Tanner Morgan Brother Tyler

Tyler Morgan is a linebacker, coach, and teacher at Ryle High School. The Raider’s assistant coach teaches math to the kids and is a favorite of many.

He is married to his wife Lauren Morgan. Tyler, like his brother Tanner, has always been a sports enthusiast.

The Morgan brothers would attend the football camp of their uncle, Tim Koogler, former head coach of the Leslie County Eagles. They would go to matches supporting their uncle’s football club in the championships. 

Tyler and his buddies, who were four or five years older than Tanner, would torment Tanner and his little buddies in the field.

The goal was to make sure the backyard football games were competitive and not give Tanner and his younger friends an easy path to victory.

They even lined up against each other in backyard games from time to time. He believes the backyard games against his elder brother helped him develop a relentless mindset.

Tanner Morgan Wife: Sarah Morgan

Tanner Morgan is happily married to the love of his life, Sarah Jeanne Morgan. Sarah Becraft was born to Steven Michael Becraft and Jeannie Bie Becraft.

Sarah Becroft also attended the University of Minnesota. She works as an Associate Manager at Theravance Biopharma.

The better half of Tanner celebrates her birthday on the 17th of August. She has three sisters, Gracie, Mary, and Anne, along with one brother named Mitch. 

The couple got married on July 9, 2026. On April 1st of, 2026, Tanner announced that they are expecting a baby girl in June through his .
