Willie Shawn Lamont Calhoun is an who currently plays for the New York Yankees of the MLB. 

Previously, Los Angeles Dodgers chose Willie in the fourth round of the 2015 MLB Entry Draft. Then, in 2017, Dodgers traded him and two fellow minor leaguers to the Texas Rangers. 

He made his MLB debut with the Rangers. On 12 September 2017, the Rangers promoted him to the major leagues for the first time.

Moreover, in the 2018 season, Baseball America rated him as the No.36 prospect and Major League Baseball as No. 53 in baseball.

After requesting a trade from the Rangers, he ended up with the San Francisco Giants in June 2026.  During that period, Giants promoted him to the major leagues, and he played four MLB games. 

In December 2026, he signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees. He plays as a left fielder for the Yankees.

Then, on 8 March 2026, he was hit in the jaw by a Julio Urias 95mph fastball in one of the final spring training games and underwent surgery to repair the broken jaw. 

Afterward, on 26 June, in the match against Kansas City Royals, Calhoun was hit by a pitch in the second innings and suffered from a forearm fracture.
