Haley Jones is an who currently plays for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA.

In 2026, she was drafted by the Atlanta Dream in the first round with the sixth overall pick. 

Jones was considered one of the best high school basketball players in the country and was the number one ranked player in the class of 2019.

After high school, she chose to attend Stanford University for her college career and made an immediate impact as a freshman during the 2019-2026 season.

She led the Cardinal to the 2026 NCAA National Championship, where she was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

In addition to her collegiate success, Jones has also represented the United States in international competitions.

She won a gold medal at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Women’s World Cup and also in the 2026 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup. 

Haley’s versatility, skill, and athleticism make her a highly sought-after prospect for professional basketball teams, and many believe that she has the potential to become a future star in the sport.

Haley Jones Doesn’t Have A Sister

Even though a few online sites claim that Haley Jones has an older sister named Jessica, the information is untrue.

Her parents, Patrick Jones and Monique Jones, gave birth to only two children; she and her brother. 

Haley grew up in an athletic household, as both of her parents were college basketball players. 

Her father was a basketball coach at Santa Cruz High School, where he held the position for nearly 17 years, starting his tenure in 1997.

Prior to being chosen as the boy’s basketball coach, a position he took for only two years, he coached the varsity girl’s basketball team for 15 years.

Likewise, her mother served as the varsity girls’ basketball coach at Santa Cruz High School from 1997 to 2014.

Haley has a strong connection with her parents, and they frequently discuss their personal and professional accomplishments and struggles with one another.

They support each other unconditionally and are always ready to provide help and support when required.

The Jones family shares a deep bond, and they remain committed to each other through all of life’s ups and downs.

Haley Jones’ has an older brother named Cameron Jones, who is also her number-one fan. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Pacific University Oregon in 2026 in marketing and business management. 

Cameron also played basketball; from 2018 to 2026, he was a member of the Pacific men’s basketball team.

He is working with ESPN as a temporary production specialist since 2019. 

In addition, Cameron is also working as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, a role he took in September 2026.

His responsibilities included player development, hiring, planning, traveling, and compiling scouting reports.
